AIKO IS FINE!

SO WONDERFUL NEWS:

THE LITTLE FLUFFY MONSTER IS OK!

I am so relieved. I met with the vet yesterday around 4:00pm. My boss was really cool and let me go early. My sister Rene brought him to the office and I went straight there early so that I could fill out his paperwork.

The vet and everyone showed him off to everyone in the back... they did a thorough check of him. They noted nothing out of the oridinary.

They did ask me to bring back a fecal sample sometime. They said if his loose stools didn't clear up to bring it back sooner. However if they cleared up I could bring it back in a couple of weeks. They want to check it for parasites and stuff.

He didn't get any vaccinations, as it was too early. They gave me a nice little puppy pack and a vaccination schedule. I got a dewormer to give the little guy on the 19th of this month. He can't have it until then because he just had one on 07/05.

I REALLY CAN'T WAIT UNTIL HE IS 16 WEEKS! I want to take him walking!!!

OMG! NOOOOOO!

I woke up this morning like usually (4:30 am and then 7:30 am) *grumble grumble* "Only for Aiko!"... and lil Aiko was having a hard time going poop! When he finally went it was really loose and there was a little blood in it!! (and a carrot) EEEWWW. Ok yea... EEWWWW.

So I am totally freaking OUT! I don't know if it's serious... or if I am overreacting. I called the vet and spoke with a nurse, she didn't seem to worried. As long as he's active and eating/drinking. (which thankfully he is)...

---- SO I think I freaked myself out more. I decided to go search in the forums for "blood in stool" and I found some frightening stories!!! Like yea.. frightening. I think I am going to move up his puppy appointment if I can....

Oh Noes.... FLEAS!

Lil Aiko has been itching up a storm! I thought maybe he had dry skin or something so I pulled his fur apart and the poor little guy has tons of fleas!!

So I went to the pet hospital around the block and got him a treatment. I'll buy a 4 month supply later after I get paid for all these extra hours.

I put it on him so yey... hopefully no more fleas.

I scheduled his well puppy appointment for this Saturday. I don't think its time for him to get his vaccinations yet, since he got his first on 07/05.

Did I mention I love this puppy.... and I love him driving with me.. little cuddly boy...
