Aiko is the most loyal dog I've ever seen.
Last year when I went on vacation, my mom watched him and the poor boy went on a hunger strike. He stopped eating and didn't eat for 5 days. Poor boy.
So this year I decided he should come with us. We went camping up in the mountains near Quincy and he was a doll. Very good dog. Everyone who sees him and how he acts says that he's a really good dog, and lots loved his little "lion" cut.
He learned "Stay" really well while we were up there. He wasn't allowed in the house and they always had the doors to the cabin open. So he would sit at the door and watch us. I rarely had to tie him up because he was always in my site. If something came up the street, he'd bark and only once did he run off after it. A sharp yell and he stopped immediately and returned.
I didn't think Pomeranians liked water. Well I can't say for sure that Aiko likes it.. but i know he didn't mind getting his paws in it. We went to the river, and I jumped in, and walked towards the middle. I turned around and there was a little dog swimming after me. I was shocked. Never expected him to get in. I expected him to sit at the shore and whine for me. As soon as he reaches me he gets me to pick him up though.. lol.
When we went to the lake the kids had him sitting on the boogie board. He's so good with kids. I just love this dog.
He's with me all the time and is just he most loving and cuddly dog. He's my best furry friend. I couldn't have asked for a better dog.

Expecting
Well my family is getting bigger. I found out that I am currently expecting my third child. We are hoping for a boy. :)
Aiko is still a large part of my life. He's just too adorable.
I still love him. I got him groomed professionally last Thursday. He didn't like it, but he was a pretty good boy. I have to be on top of brushing him more, even if he doesn't like it.

Mischa, Aiko, and Me
So Mischa is adapting pretty well to her new home with us. She still doesnt care much for Aiko, unfortunately. He wants to be her friend soooooo bad. They do play tug of war with toys quite a bit.
Little Aiko's nose is probably feeling a little sore though. Mischa got him quite a few times. Most of the time just warning nips.
Potty training is NOT working. They are just going anywhere now. I'm planning on ripping the carpet up and tiling our room. Probably around the first of January. Right now I've resorted to potty pads though. They seem to be inclined to use those, which is a relief. I have to go buy more.
Mischa started training a week ago. She's had two sessions. I'm hoping we can get her a bit more comfortable around other dogs, and people. Right now she is pretty solitary. Just likes me and Kaitlynn and thats it.
I'll post pictures soon. She is a real sweetie though. Aiko is growing up to be a doll as well. Very sweet and kind. Handsome little guy. I need more pictures of him, however he never sits still long enough....

I've started school and working full time, so my free time is extremely limited currently.

No biting!!! YEY!
So lil Aiko didn't bite or even growl at me at all yesterday. It's working. I'm so happy. He is such a sweet little boy.
I think me being home more helps too. The girls just hug him and love him too much maybe he's just over stimulated.
I can't wait to get him into puppy classes. He is a smart little boy.

Toe Fetish?!
This lil boy likes to play. I mean he will play for hours on end. By himself with people with the other dogs (they get tired of him easily) and then with his toys. I love it! Sooo much energy. I really can't wait to take this little guy on walks. He will have a blast.
This morning before work he was overly excited. Why? I'm not sure. He sure wanted to play... and it wasn't with his toys... or with our hands. He LOVES FEET. Specifically... he likes to bite toes. Now.. toes are sensitive, and I will yelp "Ouch!" or "Owie" and he will calm down a little then start liking them, which tickles like mad! I push him away, and he comes back, I push him away and he comes back again. ITS HILARIOUS.
I just have to be really careful and not step on the little guy. It's funny how we keep finding out all these little quirks to him. He's got an awesome personality this little beast.
I think we are getting the biting thing under control finally. We'll see how the next few days pan out. I think now that I've been working less he's finally calming down.
Today he was "sitting" really well and he's learned "stay" today, and he's getting MUCH better at "Come". So his training is progressing :D. YEY!!
